The project proposes an innovative method to grow bees at home, a method based on a growing trend of people who care for the environment. The main objective of the project is to bring the bee closer to man by turning it into a pet. New design of the hive and simplification of the profession will allow more people to be exposed to the field, changing their perception about the importance of bees to our planet.

 

Bees are easily amongst the most important insects to humans on Earth. 

 

Our relations with the honey bee have continued for thousands of years. We have evolved close to the honey bee because we are dependent upon it for pollination and for providing a product for purposes of economic development. Also "colony collapse disorder" is a global phenomenon; bees are disappearing and the prices of fruit and vegetables are increasing.

 

So honey bees are most important to economy and agriculture. More and more people are exposed to and aware of the problem and raise their own beehives on home grounds.

 

I have taken this concept a step further and introduced the hive into the home, creating a new, wonderful and educational experience in a product which is a piece of furniture with global values.

 

The beehive is a connection between a hot world and a cold world; between nature and technology.

 

The beehive provides a technological solution for developing a domestic hive in a simple and fun way so that at any given moment it is possible to dive into the amazing world of bees and lick sweet honey.
